The INFINITE project participated in the All Digital Summit 2025, hosting an engaging workshop titled “Empowering Higher Education with AI Tools and Resources.”
The session brought together educators, researchers, and digital learning experts to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can transform higher education — not just technologically, but ethically and pedagogically.
Exploring the Intersection of AI and Digital Citizenship
Participants worked collaboratively to design AI-enhanced learning scenarios and experiment with AI-supported content creation tools, such as Gamma, a platform for generating digital education materials. The workshop also provided a reflective space to discuss the global challenges of AI, including digital responsibility, transparency, and inclusion in academic environments.
Our Objectives
The workshop was designed around three main goals:

Build AI literacy among higher education academics and students.

Promote the ethical use of AI in learning and teaching contexts.

Empower participants as multipliers, enabling them to share their knowledge and contribute to improving higher education practices across Europe.
Engagement and Collaboration
The hands-on activities encouraged participants to think critically about the opportunities and risks of AI in education. Through group exercises and open discussions, they examined how responsible AI integration can enhance creativity, accessibility, and digital citizenship.
Looking Ahead
The workshop’s success highlighted the growing interest and need for capacity-building initiatives on ethical and human-centred AI in education. The INFINITE consortium will continue this work through upcoming capacity-building courses and policy discussions — stay tuned for more updates!
